I almost never write negative reviews, but this experience was so upsetting that I feel I have to speak up. I brought a few flowers that I purchased from Trader Joe’s to Boston City Florist, hoping they could help me wrap them properly. I was also more than willing to buy additional flowers from the shop and pay a reasonable wrapping fee. Instead, I was met with an extremely rude older man who behaved in a very pushy and unprofessional manner. He almost forced several bouquets on me without properly explaining or asking for my consent. What made it worse was the so-called “wrapping” — no ribbon at all, just an ugly piece of string holding everything together. It looked cheap, careless, and completely unacceptable for a florist shop. The whole experience was surreal and unpleasant. To make matters worse, I was then charged $50 for this mess. This shop is located inside Boston University, and it honestly feels like they are taking advantage of students who may not feel comfortable arguing or walking away. The final result was something I could not accept at all — both the service and the product were far below any reasonable standard. I left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and ripped off. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone.

I ordered flowers from Boston City Florist for Valentine's Day, and wow—they absolutely blew me away! 🌸💖 The flowers were stunning. Super easy to order and the staff was so friendly. I'm already planning my next order! I think they deserve a great review.

I ordered flowers for delivery, the delivery driver answered all my questions and was very patient with me. The bouquet itself was stunning and exceeded my expectations tenfold. I sent another bouquet the following week to a Recently married friend and she called me immediately to ask where I got them. The staff is exceptional, and the flowers have lasted her weeks. I will never go anywhere else for flowers

Update: They deserve 0 stars. Very unprofessional, they were upset that I gave an honest review AFTER reaching out for a whole day with no resolution and decided to curse at me and say they will do nothing about it. I get flowers often and this is the absolute worse flower shop in Boston. As you’ll see in the pics, they delivered something that looked nothing at all like the website. The bouquet was so “kid-like”. When I reached out to them they didn’t bother to offer any type of recovery. Kept telling me to email pics and “they’d call back” never got the call back. Horribly run establishment. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! You’re been warned. Go somewhere that actually knows what they’re doing and actually have professional integrity, there are so many other places in the area that do.

I did not get what I ordered. I ordered a large Bouquet of flowers to be delivered to a friend going in for surgery. I asked for ALL peonies. Nick told me that it would be more expensive as peonies are expensive. I said ok. He confirmed that he would do peonies and hydrangea. For a $220 bouquet, there was one single peony. I tried to contact him and see what happened. He never got back to me once he asked for a picture of the bouquet. He did however deliver it the same day which I did appreciate. Just wish it was what I ordered.
