I ordered flowers for my wife for our first anniversary. I ordered through the website and requested a custom bouquet for $100 that incorporated flowers we had at our wedding. I placed an order more than 2 weeks from the pick up date of May 30th. I received an emailed order receipt but no other communication whatsoever. I called multiple times the week of pickup to confirm my order and only ever got the voicemail greeting. I chose to pick up on site which I highly recommend against. The office is hard to find in a multi office building. The office itself was very disorganized and the only other person there was too deep in a personal phone call to notice I was standing at the counter. I had to walk deeper into the office to get her to notice me after about 10 minutes of waiting. I asked if my order was ready for pickup and showed my receipt. I was told that my order was not ready and no one had let her know that there was an order that day. I was absolutely crushed because this was one of the only things my wife really wanted for our anniversary. The young lady asked if I would like to have something put together and I was initially hesitant because I could not immediately see the flowers I had requested on site. She got in contact with the owner and got some information on my order, which confirmed it did go through and the ball was in fact dropped. I was scrambling to weigh my options of having a bouquet put together out of what was on hand or try to reach out to another florist. I really did not want to leave with something unsatisfactory, so I asked that a bouquet could be put together for my approval. Thankfully, there were some flowers I had requested in the shop (roses, peony) but some elements were unavailable, which was disappointing. The young lady did put together a good bouquet given the hard circumstances and I did accept to take it. Quite a few of the flowers were not in the best condition (browning, curled petals) and no offer was made to discount my order. I did not want to cause a fuss and I was appreciative of the effort to not send me away empty handed, but over all I am really disappointed. I feel I gave a good lead time (2+ weeks) to have a custom bouquet arranged and have any out of stock items ordered. The difficulty of even finding the shop combined with the fact that there is no direct phone line to the shop was quite frustrating. I strongly recommend other florists and hope this review is helpful to the community and owners of this business. Pictured below is a rose from the bouquet purchased on a Friday afternoon and photographed on Sunday night. Water has been refilled once.

I wanted a different valentine bouquet than the typical dozen red roses. This Winter Romance bouquet was perfect and my wife loved it! As did all her co-workers when it was delivered! I always use Florist of Omaha because the bouquets are done professionally and the flowers LAST!

My nana sent me flowers today and what I got was low quality. The flowers were brown and broken. There were dead leaves in the water and the steams were slimy and brown. Worst flower arrangement I’ve ever received. Update: after contacting the company about the arrangement. They made it right by delivering the most beautiful arrangement the next day. Very happy that they made it right and now I can enjoy my birthday surprise

Not even close to what was ordered. Birthday bouquet sent to me filled with 100% substitution flowers - which I am highly allergic to 3 of them. Flowers are just thrown together in the vase, badly cut, and some even browning. All of the "Birthday Flowers" for a Birthday Bouquet are filled with Funeral Flowers and are white and browning. 2 lazily placed blue (flowers? Weeds?) jammed on the side as another heinous touch to this death trap bouquet sent to me at work. When making this many substitutions (meaning the entire bouquet), communication is everything which this place failed to do. The flowers are dying and it is filled with the cheapest flowers (Daisies, Chrysanthemums, Carnations, and gas station quality "white" - Dying roses"). this entire bouquet is not worth anymore than $15 dollars - since you can get all these same filler flowers from Bakers for that same price. Just for perspective, the flowers originally purchased were none of the ones sent in the bouquet, nor was it anywhere close to these colors. The Florists here should have known that this bouquet was not appropriate and poorly done and they still chose to send this. There is 0 quality control. A full refund was given. - But I am posting this review as a warning to anyone wanting to actually gift someone flowers or god forbid order for an event.

Vernetta has worked with our NonProfit organization for the last five years in designing our annual 450+ person event. She has helped us to legitimize and grow our event into a regionally recognized gala. Vernetta is organized, creative, knowledgeable and hard working. Probably the thing we love most about her though is that she is easy to work with. There are not many businesses that can claim that these days. She has not only become one of our most important team members but has become a part of our family. Meet Vernetta and I bet you fall in love with her the way we did!
