I’ve gone for occasions in the past few years and I’ll say the quality of bouquet you get is unfortunately luck of the draw especially if you call. If you can, go in so they don’t give you low quality flowers and so you can do quality control while they make the bouquet. I called in today to request a simple bouquet for a friend’s ballet recital. I emailed inspo, and gave clear instructions. They said they could handle the job. I get there only to find the bouquet is being held together by an eyesore of a sticker with the flower shop’s name on it. The bouquet is pink and beige and you have a store-branded GRAY & MULTICOLOR sticker right above the ribbon? Poor form. I brought this up to the attendant Akilah and she kept trying to downplay the importance. I’m not paying $60 to give Lee’s free advertising. I made her take it off and replace it with clear tape. She left the white sticker residue on the bouquet. She had an attitude and acted like she was doing me a favor. Years ago, I got a lovely vintage-style bouquet here. I went into the store and was meticulous with the attendant. He was meticulous with what I wanted as well. I won’t make the mistake of ordering over the phone again. Please see below for the difference in quality and flower selection for each bouquet. I won’t even include the inspo for today’s event because what I got what a far cry from it, and that inspo bouquet was made by an amateur. Please do your due diligence. Thank you.

My favorite flower shop in the District, hands down! I order from them every year. Each time the arrangements are perfect and unique. My wife loves them. The customer service is always stellar, going above and beyond. Happy to support their business anytime. Also check out the store, they have tons of unique gifts to accompany your flowers.

Lee's flower shop blew me away with their exceptional customer service, courtesy of Gina. She was such a pleasure to work with. We placed the order in the morning and were able to receive them that evening. The quality is very good, and they did a great job stylistically. Can't wait to order from them again. When we couldn't arrive on time to pickup, Gina did us the great favor of walking the flowers over to the recipient that lives close by. She definitely did not have to do that, but went above and beyond nonetheless. Thank you Gina!

I had an Amazing experience, and outcome working with Samarah. She listened, she created beautiful arrangements and was patient, while we were organizing my mom's funeral. The flowers were beautiful and fresh and brought in the right energy for her homegoing. Absolutely I would use Lee's for any future flower needs.

Absolutely above and beyond. A DC TREASURE!! These gorgeous flowers were delivered earlier today and just now someone came IN THE ICE AND SNOW to deliver some chocolates that were meant to have come with the flower delivery. Beautiful artistry with the arrangement and really thoughtful follow through. Thank you!!
