We live out of state but wanted to send my sister flowers for her birthday. Lou Gentile's Flower Basket's website made it really easy to order flowers and the description with photos were very much appreciated. Her flowers arrived to her job early this morning and the arrangement turned out beautifully.

I came into this flower shop with high hopes because my boss recommended it, but unfortunately, my experience was terrible. The woman working there was extremely rude, looked at us like we were dumb, and acted like we were a burden just for walking in and trying to give them business. If you're closing or can’t help us, just say that—there’s no need to be cold, dismissive, or disrespectful. It honestly made us feel like we were being judged or even racially profiled, and that’s something no one should have to feel when they walk into a store. I just wanted an arrangement for such a special day (my wedding). I’m truly disappointed and saddened by the treatment we received. I pray that Jesus Christ blesses everyone working there, because there is definitely a spirit of bitterness or ugliness in that place. Do better. Update: a few streets over at Josefat Flowers was an amazing experience! Here’s the review I left for them! Just in case you read this and need a place! They made my last minute bridal bouquet 💐 After having a disappointing experience at another flower shop, walking into this place was a breath of fresh air. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such kindness and care. The staff was incredibly helpful, patient, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They took the time to understand what we were looking for and made us feel completely respected and valued as customers. It truly turned our day around, and we left feeling so grateful. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for not only beautiful flowers, but a beautiful experience too! 🌸✨

I visited here hoping to find a beautiful, last-minute bridal bouquet for my sister's wedding, having been referred by a friend. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The associate who assisted us was unprofessional and appeared unwilling to help. The flowers presented were dried and unappealing, making it clear they wouldn't meet our needs for such a special occasion. Given the lack of helpfulness and the quality of the product offered, we decided to take our business elsewhere.

I purchased a get well soon arrangement for a co-worker online. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because they were able to complete my order same day. On that note, the arrangement looked like it. The arrangement I received looked nothing like what I chose online. $108.00 for no vase (cardboard box) and wilted flowers. The roses were yellowing around the edges and the other flowers will possibly live for one-two days. Very disappointed that I did not take a picture as proof. I was embarrassed to give these to my co-worker however after spending $108.00, I had no choice. I do not recommend this establishment.
