We had such an amazing experience with Mandy. She was so sweet and helpful with all our requests and graciously assisted with our last minute adjustments and adding additional florals towards the months getting closer to the wedding. She executed our florals so beautifully. We got exactly what we wanted. We are still getting compliments on our florals to this day. I cannot say enough good things about her and the services we received. She worked within our budget and was worth it. No need to look any further another florist she is the real deal!!

We were thrilled to have our wedding at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa. The Director of Catering & Events provided us with exclusive vendor information, including six florists. We chose The Natural of Things, owned by a mother and daughter, to support our local community in Riverside. I contacted Mandy and shared our inspiration photos. She was immediately on board. My wedding was in December 2025, so I asked Mandy about spring flowers for my bouquets. I wanted peonies, roses, protea, ranunculus, hanging amaranthus, astilbe, hypericum, snapdragons, antique carnations, variegated ti leaf, nagi leaf, and camellia leaf. All bouquets would be tied with magenta silk ribbons and have handles for the maid of honor and bridesmaids. For the groom, best man, groomsmen, and ushers, I wanted lapel boutonnieres with coordinating florals and botanicals, tied with a magenta silk ribbon handle. Mandy assured me she would create the flowers and kept us informed throughout the process. As the wedding date approached, she emailed us an impressive proposal detailing the weather (68 degrees high and 46 degrees low) in December, along with the floral lists. It was detailed and organized. On our wedding day, Mandy and Dawn delivered the flowers to our home. They showed us how to pin the lapel boutonnieres and carefully kept the flowers in separate vases and wrapped individually. Dawn explained how to hold my bouquets, which were heavy with beautiful magenta flowers and their lovely fragrance. My maid-of-honor, bridesmaids, groom, best man, groomsmen, ushers, and guests were all impressed by the bouquets. I highly recommend them. I have always admired the Nature of Things gorgeous flowers on Social Media. When I actually staring working with Mandy and Dawn, for our small wedding, I was blown away by the level of expertise and care they showed me. Mandy worked closely with me on my color palette and with our budget. The flowers were so amazing, when people see my photos, they comment on how beautiful the flowers are. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Mandy and Dawn for your care, expertise, communication, and artistry. I cannot wait to get a beautiful arrangement from you again!

If you’re thinking about going with The Nature of Things - do it. Mandy & Dawn - first and for most I want to address the two of you first. THANK YOU for making this process so smooth and easy for me. I cannot express how much your patience, understanding, and professionalism helped make our special day vivid and beautiful. Your artistry is breathtaking and your visions of floral architecture are truly cultivated by your talent and your time in the industry. My guest could not stop talking about your beautiful arrangements, my husband was impressed, and I over filled with joy every time I look at all the floral arrangements. Again, my gratitude is beyond words but thank you. Now, to the public- I gave Mandy and Dawn creative freedom. I provided a color spectrum of what I was going for, as well as a theme which was a mix of boho, Mexican inspiration, a hit of tropical. I gave them my favorite flower, and what flower I’d like them to use as minimally as possible. If I had an idea, I received honest feedback and appreciated that so much. I think the relationship between the vendor and client has to be honest, real, and trusting. Communication was on point, they checked in, and even shared ideas to conceptualize the vision. Attention to detail, organization, and timeliness was amazing. The florals at my vow renewal/ 10 year anniversary will be one of my favorite parts of the event. Oh and I just have to mention my bouquet - STUNNING. That is all. Again, if your considering hiring this dream team please do. It was 10000% worth it for me and I hope the same for you.

Cannot recommend them enough if you are looking for a wedding florist! Nature of Things was so wonderful every step of the way and my flowers felt SO perfect. Dawn and Mandy answered every question I had and were always open to my ideas. Just overall a perfect vendor from start to finish!!
