I am extremely disappointed with the flowers my boyfriend ordered for me for Valentine’s Day from Vic’s Floral Inc. (6304 Fleet Ave, Cleveland, OH 44105). He paid over $100 for the “Heart and Soul – Premium” arrangement. What I received looks nothing like the photo advertised online. The picture shows a full, neatly shaped heart arrangement in a red container. What arrived looks uneven, poorly shaped, and honestly like something a child could have put together. For that price, you expect quality, attention to detail, and something that at least resembles the advertised product. This did not. After looking into it further, we learned the order was placed through a company called Flower Shopping, which appears to be located overseas. They charge around $120, then only pay Vic’s Floral about half of that to actually make the arrangement. If that’s the case, customers are being misled and local florists are being underpaid, while the final product doesn’t match what was promised. Valentine’s Day is supposed to be special. Instead, this experience was embarrassing and upsetting. For $100+, customers deserve honesty and a product that matches the photo. I would not recommend ordering from this business based on my experience.

I never write a review but I was so disappointed and embarrassed by the floral arrangement from Vic’s Floral. I had purchased an arrangement to go to a funeral home and when I saw it, it looked horrible, the pink roses looked like they were starting to die with browning edges. Overall it didn’t look like it was arranged professionally .

Not one, but 2 poinsettias delivered and left in the snow on the front porch. First one last Wed, found it sitting on snow Friday morning, frozen. I work from home and don't open the front door very often. I called and a very nice person apologized and said another would be delivered Saturday. That did not happen. I called again this morning, she said it was on a truck. I worked til 500, left the house at 520 to run some errands and as I backed out of the driveway saw it sitting there covered with snow. And the plastic covering it must have been in was pulled down around it?? A friend of mine in Columbus has been sending me a poinsettia every year for a long time. First time Vics has ever been the local florist. Every year prior, if I was not home a note was left, I called and made arrangements. Do not use this florist!!

A friend from the West Coast sent me flowers. When we order for each other it's always hit or miss since we don't know each other's area. The flowers that arrived from Vic's were gorgeous!! The selection and arrangement both really brightened my day! I love the unusual round vase and they were delivered with care. Nice to have a new neighborhood florist!

There was an issue with the original order, but Vic's friendly staff went out of their way to ensure the issue was fixed. The arraignment ended up better than expected. EDIT: I originally hesitated to post another review, but I believe it's essential for both customers and the business to be aware of my experience. I placed a second order for plants (this time the Blooming Dish Garden – Premium) to the same business location as my first order. This order was made on Thursday, May 8, at around 3:00 PM, with a promised delivery for May 9. The only reason I chose to order from Vic's was due to the assurance of next-day delivery posted on their website. These plants were meant as a gift for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, once again, the order did not arrive as promised. I called Vic's about an hour before the end of the day for an update, but all they could tell me was that the order wasn't on the delivery vehicle, with no further explanation or solution provided. I had to ask if they could deliver the order to the recipient's apartment—the same one where my previous flower order had been delivered during a similar incident. Vic's agreed and assured me that they could have it delivered by the end of that day. It never arrived. Another call to them resulted in Vic’s stating it would arrive by noon on May 10. This also did not happen. Another call and I was informed it would be there before day's end, on Saturday, but it was not. Since Sunday was Mother's Day, I chose not to call them. However, I did reach out first thing on Monday morning, May 12 – my 13th phone call since Friday. I requested that the plants be sent to the original destination and was once again assured they would arrive by noon, and finally, they did. In my opinion, Vic's completely dropped the ball. I didn't receive any calls explaining the delays, nor any follow-up. If I had, I would have understood. I get it. It was Mother's Day weekend, and they were certainly very busy. Yet, the burden of communication felt disproportionately one-sided on me. This experience has led me to decide against using Vic's in the future. 13 calls and 13 different excuses for why the basket was not delivered. Regarding the plant arrangement, it was overcrowded with eight plants (see photos). After about a week, it became evident that a significant transplanting effort was needed, as proper watering was challenging. Moreover, one of the plants at the back began leaning heavily, and the dwarf umbrella tree was shedding leaves in clusters. During the transplanting process, I discovered the issue: Vic's staff had only inserted the tops of the Dwarf Umbrella Tree into the soil instead of providing a complete plant. We were both very disheartened and disappointed by this. So far, the remaining plants seem to be doing well, though we are still assessing the bent one. Nonetheless, after facing delivery issues twice, experiencing poor communication, no follow-up, and observing the poor condition of at least two plants, we will regrettably not be using Vic's as our florist again.
